Hahaha, I like this photo a lot.

I learned something these days,

we have to be satisfied on what we are having now,

at least I think I should.

I have

the best father that loves me more than anyone else,

most caring and fun and pretty mother,

cool, fun, caring siblings that loves me the most,

nice boyfriend that always let me win in whatever situation,

FRIENDS that are cool, fun and god listeners and not to forget great laugher,

cool adults friends (mostly sister's friends) that help me out on all kind of horrible situation,

enough money to spend even thou sometimes I might over spent,

good housekeepers helping me to clean up my mess,

a big big house with cute nieces and nephews,

have the chance to study aboard when there are people who doesn't even have the money to study,

I mean what else more I could ask for?

Nothing really, at least for now!

My life is so warm and fulled.

I love my friends and family and everything that god has given me.

I would really like to thank god for giving me everything I have now.

Actually, we celebrated his Bday a day earlier because it is winter festival today. Winter festival is such a big hoo haa in Teo Chew custome so I can't miss the dinner, anyway I don't think I am allowed to.

Yup, So we did it a day earlier, no harm done I suppose. Because It's so nice that people could celebrate with you, not like me have to work in during my bday. wtf.

We started ff our meeting around 4pm right after I met up with my high school girls, it was a wonderful outing with them really. anyway, back to his bday.

Since it was 4pm, it too early for dinner so we went for Tea at Bukit Damansara @ The Bread Shop. It is a very cozy cafe that belongs to an architecture firm, I heard it is something like a canteen to the people who works at the architecture firm. Since it's belongs to an architecture firm, you don't need me to tell you the awesomeness of the interior. It is so pretty! But believe it or not, the breads are awesome too!

I am going to introduce the awesome new creative space in Kuala Lumpur,

There are awesome little designed cafes there
and Wondermilk has an outlet there,

T2 from Australia are selling in their supermarket.

Is a very cool place to hang out really,
the food court might not be really fantastic but I think the food are pretty good actually.

I have got a lot of smilier questions since I am back from Brisbane for my holiday. I am going to answer all of your question here.

Q: Oh my god! You are a lot fairer than before, what have you done?

A: Is an illusion. Because, I was always under the sun in brisbane and the sun is much more stronger than in Malaysia. The only reason I look fairer because I have darker hair color and I have changed my loose powder.

Q: You skin has improve so much! Is it because of the weather in Australia?

A: NO! A big No No. I had medication for 8 months during my first year in Brisbane. This is the only reason and I have stop using all kind of moisturizer and sunblock and stop eating food that I am allergic of such as peanut and lobster.

Q: How long is your holiday?

A: About 3 months, I will stay in Malaysia until February

Q: When are you graduating?

A: If I am able to keep everything on track it will be on next year end.

Q: What are going to do in such a long holiday?

I will be learning watercolor and maybe oil painting as well. I wouldn't say learn but to improve my skill on watercolor.

Q: Why do you start this business?

A: This is my passion. Like father, like daughter I guess. Yea, long time ago, before my dad started his building material business, my dad was a printer. We appreciate prints a lot. the only different is that I like designed prints and my dad is more interested in the materials.

Q: What will happen when you are back to Australia?

A: If business is going well, I will printed a few ready designed items. My driver will post it to all of you. Personalization and Customization product will not be sold when I am not around unless, you are an Australian and doesn't mind paying extra. I am happy to do it for you.

Q: Why name it Mad Prints.?

A: It means madly in love with Prints! We love stuff that can be touched and hold and collect not digital stuff. The word mad is adopted from Alice in Wonderland's mad hatter. Dont ask me why, I just like him.

Q:Who is the girl with a big bow?

A: Her name is Athena. She is Mad Prints. logo girl. She will always be my logo girl but she will have a lot of different style from time to time.

Q:Why is everything so expensive?

A: Digital printing is very expensive and we use thicker papers. I can't send it to factory to print it because film is needed and you have to print a lot a lot a lot. I don't have that much order yet.

I realized a lot of question that people ask me these days are very smilier so I am going to answer all of them now.

1. Why are you on Facebook while working? Why didn't your company block Facebook.

I am working. I will only on Facebook while I am working. This is because, my company is a digital advertising company and facebook is one of the largest advertising platform since mankind. Basically, My company maintain FB pages and creates all kind of apps. So, I am working when I am on Facebook.

2. Do you like your job?

Sometimes, I do and most of the time I don't. I am a Visual Comm student, I deal with prints in Uni, Digital advertising is very new to me. Frankly, is not very interesting as well. I have a weird passion in printed materials actually, if printing doesn't cost that much in brisbane, I will print like mad. I knew it.

3. What do you do?

EVERYTHING that an interns do. Can be things as stupid as putting in images into powerpoint. Yes i know what an insulting job but this is what interns do, at least in here.

4. So are you very free and bored in office?

YES! Basically, my boss is baby sitting me everyday. I am like a big baby keep on crying for more jobs and I know he is so annoyed wishes he can strangle me and kill me.

5. What do you plan to do?

Resign. Had enough of working is time to have fun. being a free-loader is a lot happier!

Is christmas feel all around brisbane. Most restaurant and offices has decorated their place. Chocolates shops are selling xmas stuff already. As always, everyone will have a warm/ HOT christmas in Australia, because it's always summer during christmas.

Swollen / Puffy eyes saver

This is the kinda swollen / Puffy eyes I am saying. It is call "眼针" in chinese.

My sisters and I always have this and most of the time western med and eye drops wouldn't help at all. Seriously, if you had it before.

I am having it since Friday. On Thursday night when I was rushing my assignment, I feel that my right eye area really hurt like someone had punched on my eye. I looked at the mirro and everything was ok until the next morning when i wash my face. I feel the pimple on my eye lid. I was like WTF! So on that day, obviously, make up saved my day but it obviously got a little more serious at night.

Okay, if you think doctor is not going to help you, and u rather let it be.

What you can do is:

1. Put ice pack on your eye ( not to sensitive eyes)

2. Drink lotsa water (this will really help)

I am going to tell you what caused this thing and I have a wonderful solution.

Most of the time, is the few reason below who caused it:

1. Not enough sleep

2. Didn't drink enough water

3. Sensitive to fake eye lashes

4. Had not enough of fibre (Vegetables, Fruits, anything healthy)

5. Constipation

This thing will obviously, affect your liver. The only way to get rid of it, is to clean your liver.

I have a chinese medicine here that you can go to any traditional chiese herbal shop to get it. It will cure your eye almost immediately (depends on how serious it is), most of the time you need to take 3 days and it will be cured. However, you can see the result after a few hours on consuming the med on the day it self.

The medicine is:

龙胆泻肝汤/ 龍膽瀉肝湯

(Show them the name will do, don't really need to show them the ingredient because they will know it anyway, just get the original formula)

Ingredient:

柴胡梢、泽泻各一钱

车前子、木通各五分，

生地黄、当归梢、草龙胆各三分

How to cook:

1. Soak it with 4 bowl of water for 20 minutes and give it a boil with high heat

2. Reduce the heat and boil until left 1 bowl of water.

You can reboil the herbal for a 2nd consumption for faster result with the same method.

You are not suppose to have 2 pack a day, if you want to have a 2nd consumption, reboil the previous one.

If got any sensitive, please go to a doctor. But this always work for me and my family. DRINK A LOT OF WATER, it will help for sure!

was chatting with Ethan just now. and he told me something very funny,

"When I was first at Brisbane, i thought it was so wonderful and I didn't want to go home until finals."

so true. why? because when you are home, you are on holiday but you will have to give up to your freedom while most asians family have curfew. okay, lets be fair, KL is a very dangerous place curfew is actually an essential thing, seriously.

anyway, I have been working with dreamweaver since saturday which really annoyed me. I hate it. Those div tags just don't fall into place that it suppose to be. bloody annoying. I have been changing my layout again and again just to make it look more complicated, since the person who is going to mark it told me my previous layout was too simple.

Simple is my thing, I don't like complicated stuff, it irritated me. Stop forcing me to make complicated stuff, is not my kind of thing really. what is wrong with simple and clean stuff?

I realised that I have a problem on learning something new. I always got very low marks on those subject such as "xxx 1". but I will be fine in xxx 2,3,4. no seriously, because normally on xx1 1 you have to do fancy stuff even is not looking good, as long as is fancy, I just can't help myself, I hate ugly stuff.

why dont I take a bus to city and save all the hassles?

I guess I need a breakthrough or something. once in awhile, I need to do something new. I just can't stick to my daily routine for a long time.

I didn't know how to go, so I asked 3 people for direction. 2 on the way to coles, and 1 on the way home. and they are all very nice people. seriously, especially the first women, very kind.

I like West end, is a suburb but is a little busier than the others, maybe because it is nearer to city. and tons and tons of restaurant there that I am dying to dine one day.

The Coles there is HUGE! LOL and have almost everything I need. but is a little too far for me to walk back from there. I had some difficulties on bringing everything home, just now.

I call it my little adventure, as I am not good in direction. But I enjoyed my little adventure a lot.

Have you did anything out of your daily routine? Try one.

Melbourne, City of Architecture

I went Melbourne for a 5 days trip during my current mid-term holiday. It was defiantly an eye opener for architecture buildings, you cant deny that I guess. There quite a few things that reminded me of Europe , compare to Sydney, Melbourne looks a little more Europe-ish.

This trip wasnt really awesome or good, there were a number of dramas happened. Not only one day but straight four days. First day, my boots was broken in the airplane,not to mentioned we waited at the airport for more than 6 hours because of the weather problem on our way home.

anyways, here it goes.

First day:

The first day was very very dramatic, we lost our way and all kinda things happened. but I got myself back with an awesome lush bubble bath.

You know, I dont really like the taste of macaroon.

So he bought each flavor one for me.

A very light hearted TV series. Nothing special expected story lines just another love story. I guess the only special part is Lee Min Ho. However, I really like this series, I always prefer light hearted story, I watched City Hunter and I almost got an heart attack. LOL. I'm so useless.

Lee Min Ho is super hot! with his formal wear like very smart like that. He looked so much better compare to boys over flower, I think is because of his hair. personally, I think short hair suits him better!

I did the eye make-up Michelle Phan taught in her youtube tutorial with my NEW 24 eye shadow pallet from Forever 21.

I don't have any cream eye shadow so what I did was replacing it with powdered.

I have to say the colour is not as vibrant thou.

The pink is not so obvious here.

well, I am using elianto for a very long time.

The colours were beautiful but there is a thing about it. It wore off quickly.

So, where did I really visited just now to be this dark? I visit Sportsgirl in the city to get a Bronzer. Yes, you hear me bronzer.

Still remember I told my mother about getting a bronzer and she was like, "oh please who on earth would wanna get darker..... blahhhhh~" she was being a typical Chinese. Yes, is really kinda unusual for a Chinese or an Asian wanna be darker.

Bronzer from Sportsgirl. This is my first time using it. I never try any Bronzer before. I kinda like it although Mr.Chong said I freaked him out and blah blah blah~

I miss my black hair so much so I dyed it to dark brown and I cut a little of the length so is not as long as before. I know, I know, I want long long hair as well, but it was too spoiled to keep so i decided to cut it off.

I had a nightmare this morning. I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight. It was too scary. I think I will just watch whatever TV series I have till morning. I know I am sure a baby but I am capable on taking care of myself.

Having a terrible cough. Every night coughing so badly that I am going to throw out my lungs in 3 days time if the cough continues!

Yesterday, I have handed in all of my assignments! I mean all! now, my last task is Design History exam. and Oh-la-la, I will be completely free. So happy or what?

The unhappy part is I hardly started my revision. FML. I was so tired because I have not been sleeping for so many days for rushing my assignments. I got a lot to study and to cover. I missed so many lectures and I have to catch up by reading the slides. Basically I have 9 80pages slides to study and 9 journals to read. woo-hoo and my test is next wed. am I gonna die or what?

of my course work. Today was super exciting can die, I did two presentation in a row.

Presented to two very different tutor, E is one of the nicest tutor because I realised E loves my work a lot, she always show me that you re so great eye. I am serious ok.

Today she saw my baby food mock up for another class she was staring at me with the 'awwwww...' look and said "you are a clever girl" and pat my head. but baby food is not for her subject, hers is CD album.

I have thought of vectorizing this image for ten thousand years, and now, here it is.

I have changed her eyes colour and also the hair colour. surprisingly, it didn't took me long, I got it done in about 1 and the half hours. I know it's super rough sketch but for people like me, I think is pretty good.

I have been working on my branding design since forever but I just didn't feel like go any future, you are welcome to tease that I was being lazy and etc, but I can tell you, I am not. I don't feel right about the logo design. is like incomplete and the worst part is I couldn't tell where and why, and this is a super rare problem for me. Happy Easter Day.

every time when it comes to Easter, I will recall a story of my mother's childhood.

She told me when she was a kid, everyone required to bring an egg to the convent and paint on it on Easter day. But that time, her family's financial was really bad and they can't even afford to get an egg. so she borrowed it from her friend and returned it after painting it. and this happened almost every year.

I think I grew up a little. I dont used to feel anything when it comes to the other's concerns and hardly tear unless it matters me.

I know growing up should mean to cry less but how about starting to care those around you? because you cared and you step into their shoes, you feel whatever they feel. you teared coz you felt the pain, you smile coz you felt the happiness. isn't part of growing up as well?

First time in my life, I finished my Monday's work on Friday. The feeling was pretty awesome really. I did not stuff myself into assignments on my weekend, instead I visited damn lotsa places.

Saturday was that much really, wondering around Southbank and had Nandos. yummmm~ and went candy shop. bought gummy bears, smarties, giant smarties and coke candy. yummm~ again. we finish it while wondering around southbank.

Sunday was super productive, happy and unhappy all in one. First we went for breakfast at SB and headed to Gold Coast. Harbour town was our first stop and we easily satisfied by cotton on. What to do? there is really limited brands in Brisbane, and obviously, you wont want to get too expensive stuff in Harbour town.

then we spontaneously went to Movie World. It was pretty crazy really, when we were there is almost closing. and the craziest thing, we are no movie world's VIP. we got unlimited entrees until end of June. wtf right? ya I know. But is really worthy. I AM NOT WASTING MONEY.

On the way home from GC was extremely dramatic. Our first fight for some stupid reason, in the train, wthack. I learned my lesson really, think before I talk. =__=

then we were okay again so we went dinner @ southbank. the cheap Japanese place. it was cold yesterday so i wore a hoddie and someone wanna copy my style and act like we never had a fight just now. very good actor.

ps. Oh my presentation was pretty well today but i didn't expect much really, coz she is a little bit different from normal people =__=

monday blues. really, both of the most hectic course is on monday.

my book design is going pretty well, I think I have the right to aspect some good grades? okay, I did work on that. This is because I love Melcolm Gladwell's book, his point of view is new and real or maybe elegant like what Emma (tutor) said. I was pretty nervous when Emma pointed at me and told me she want to see me after the presentation. I thought she gonna play nasty, thank god she did not. she just thought that my idea can be pushed more. LOL and we are her naughty class because everyone did very less for this midpoint and she 'begged' us to email her :p

I am having some problems with another one of my tutor. I think she is weird, really. I mean I don't like her. She is pretty generous in marking but really, I rather she is not that generous but stop acting weird. and freaking stop pretending to be a nice tutor when she is not. she is pretty annoying really. I don't mind getting a credit if I learned something but I realised I learned nothing in her class, or lets put it in this way she is not dedicated in teaching. she asked us not to email her, because she is not getting pay to reply our emails. you believe that? I mean is true but do you have to say it out? I have tutors who doesn't like to reply emails as well, but they put it in a better way. is like you don't stop someone on the street and tell her that her heels is not going well with her outfit. is just not right to do so! whatever-lah, she is just weird. and she is the MAIN reason I hate Monday, because I hate seeing her.

sometimes, I forget I took this course, because the tutor didn't really push us and it's an elective course. funny? doesn't mean that it has less work, it has damn lotsa work really. however, I am ignoring it. there are 2 tutors in this class, and both of them are very very very nice people. This doesn't mean that I can ignore them lah right? sigh...

Favourite subject in this semester. Don't ask me why okay? Is simply because art history is very interesting. and my tutor is very nice and pretty. She used to be my tutor for interior design. Believe it or not, she remembers me since semester 1. =)

I know what I am going to post might sound stupid but there are a number of people asking me this question and if I were to collect 1$ every time I answer, I can at least buy 30 MAC lipsticks already +__+

how do people like ZoeTzen who has a freaking dry lips apply lipstick without lip-gloss and still not looking dry?

there are many ways really but I am going to share the quickest way that I always do when I apply lipstick.

1. Before you do any make up, get your lip balm ready.

In this case, I am using Vaseline because it gave an instant effect and is one of the best.

Another great brand will be Chapstick.

2. Apply a generous amount of it.

Don't be afraid. Then continue with your make up.

3. When your make up is done, lightly whip it off.

Don't whip everything off until it's mad dry again, just a little.

4. Apply your lipstick!

It shouldn't look dry now.

if I could only travel another country on Earth, I will definitely go to India. If you are my close friend or those buddies that will always talks about travel, you should know, the country I want to go to the most, is India. Since high school actually.

I want to visit the Himalayan mountain, Taj Mahal and the colourful bazaar! I love country that full of cultural aspects. I wanna bring my mini digi cam and camwhore around the bazaars with the spices they are selling, the handmade jewels, cute shoes with that curvy thingy. =D

I have so much fantasies about India after reading Barbara Cartland's novels. The way she described it, is just so awesome. I still remember how she described Penang, Malaysia. so nicely done. her stories are always witty and really awesome. I can't tell how much I love reading her books. those who read before should know how her magic works!

Mummy always plan to go with me but it never works out. Every time something came up. Mummy and I love Barbara Cartland, the books I read was those she read during she was my age. and she has a cupboard of it. isn't it awesome? a collection, not a full collection but still hips of its!

I really wish i could go with mummy once. or with someone that enjoy cultural stuff as much me.

my fridge smelled like someone has kept a dead body in it for ten thousand year!

this is all because of the flood, they cut out the electricity for a week,

and since I wasn't here during that time,

things all gone bad.

everything!

so I found a wonderful solution to take way all that awful smell.

USE lemon to absorb all the awful smell.

and it works pretty well.

Is okay, when your client rejected your idea. Don't continue talking and talking and talking. Sometimes, you have to let it go. Sometimes, we are force to leave the job, is okay. Be a good designer but not someone who are just there to meet up the client's expectation.

My branding lecturer/ tutor told us that. During the tutorial and he repeated during the lecture.

of coz, is not like never listen to your client at all. there was some more in front, but I am too lazy to write it all down. Sometimes those old school clients is a pain the ass. Seriously, I met a few and not to hide from you, they were my own sisters and I got so fed up so I walked away. anyway, as long as we know we did our best, is enough.

maybe is true and this theory can be apply to life as well. agree, yea?

Sometimes, we have learn how to let it go and move on. Tomorrow will be a better day. After all life is full of surprises.
